Raspberry and Banana Smoothie

Somedays you just don’t feel like having a solid meal but you still need to get nutrients in to you! Here is a yummy smoothie you can make at home with minimal effort that will only use 5 points; not bad at all! 😀 Feel free to swap out the raspberries for a different kind of berry if you so desire…

125 ml (1/2 cup) frozen raspberries

1 small banana, peeled

160 ml (2/3 cup) unsweetened pineapple juice, chilled

125 ml (1/2 cup) ice

30 ml (2 tbls) low fat plain yogurt

15 ml (3 tsp) wheat germ

5 ml (1 tsp) honey

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Drink immediately.

Makes one serving – one serving is 5 points. 😀
