Nothing hugely fun or exciting happened today; ah Sunday, the most boring day out there. lol. I tended to my tatt (the care of this thing is gonna drive me nuts!), ran some errands and basically just hung out. shrug. If you can’t be lazy and a slob on a day nothing is expected of you when else can you do it? teehee 🙂
Since I slept in so late (around noonish!!) I had a conundrum – how to eat my points without eating some huge meal that will make me feel icky? This is something that happens to me every day I don’t work; I sleep in and my whole eating plan is screwy. However, this day I figured it out! Hooya!
I still have food in my cupboards that are so high in points I have been not eating them; they just sit there taking up space. Soooo, for dinner I had Ichiban (12 frickin points per package!!!) because why not? I had the points to spare. It worked out perfectly, I used all my points (well, ok, I was 0.5 point under but that’s ok) and don’t feel over stuffed or disgusting. Yah me!
Here is what I had today:
1/2 mango = 1 point
1.5 nectarines = 1.5 points
1 peach = 1 point
2 triangles Laughing Cow Cheese Light = 1 point
1 package Ichiban = 12 points
1 peanut butter and jam sandwich
2 pieces of bread = 2 points
1 tbls Light Peanut Butter = 2 points
1 tbls Raspberry Jam = 1 point
1 Weight Watcher candy (Peanut Butter Crunch) = 1 point
Total points used today is 22.5 points. Back on track! I think yesterday was an anomaly, if I hadn’t gone to that night market I would have eaten my points and that would have been that. It’s just a matter of being careful where I go and how I act when I am there. I knew to watch out for some scenarios – like when I went to the movies and ate a snack before hand so I wouldn’t buy candy, shrug, I just didn’t think how the night market might be a temptation. To be honest, I thought the night market was going to be more like a farmer’s market so I was expecting booths with fruit, veggies and random items (I went in the hopes of finding a case for my blackberry, sadly they had none I liked). I think as long as I am careful in the future and anticipate better I will be just fine. 🙂
