Weight Watchers Thursdays

1 Sep

Ok so I have given up on Weight Watchers Wednesdays and changed it to Thursdays because even though I prefer how Wednesday sounds I never make it to that meeting. *rolls eyes* Might as well just admit that Thursdays are my WW day and adjust the blog accordingly, shrug.

So I have some happy news, the scale was most definitely my friend this week! πŸ™‚ Not just my friend, my bestest friend! lol

My body is reluctant to lose weight so every week I stand on that stupid scale and consider myself lucky if I have managed to lose 0.8lbs. I had already done the math and figured how long it would take to get to goal if I continued on at that rate and oh man was that depressing math, sigh.

This week though, oh wow! I stepped on the scale and kinda freaked out because it showed I had gone down by 3.6lbs! Three point six pounds! Oh. My. Gawd! How is that even a possibility?

I am crediting the crazy awesome loss to three things:

  1. two weeks ago I had a super active week and apparently it can sometimes take a week for the results of extra work outs to show on the scale
  2. I cut out peanut butter…it almost killed me to do it but I realized I kept lying to myself about how much of it I was eating and it was burning through my weekly points like crazy so I cut it out completely and will sloooowly work it back in, when I can trust myself to measure and track it honestly
  3. Magic, and unicorns, and fairy dust…obviously it is mostly these that did it! πŸ˜‰

The loss of 3.6 pounds resulted in my surpassing my first 10 pounds lost (I am at a grand total of 11.8 pounds lost right now) aaaaaaaand it resulted in my losing 5% of my body weight. Boom!

In the land of Weight Watchers this means I earned me some bling! πŸ™‚

2016-09-01 13.48.01

The charm with the WW I got at 4 weeks as a celebration of sticking with the program for a month.

The charm that says 5% is celebrating my having lost 5% of my body weight, yay!

The charm of the running person is for a Try-A-Thon challenge that has been going on for the last 9 weeks. The challenge is to try something new every week, something that falls under the category of Fun, Food, or Fitness. I managed to try (and track) at least one new thing every week.

Oh, I also got a sticker for having lost another 5lbs, you get one with every 5lbs lost, but I didn’t take a picture of that lol

The WW app gave me this lovely message after I input my weigh-in weight…

2016-09-01 13.09.38

The team leader gave me a high five, I did a girly happy scream in my car, all in all, a good day. πŸ˜€

Things we talked about in the meeting today:

Hydration!

This week is all about hydration. Apparently most people don’t drink enough fluids in a day, I don’t really have that problem thanks to my tea addiction, but doesn’t mean I shouldn’t keep an eye on how much I am drinking just to make sure I don’t start cutting back without realizing it.

An average person should be drinking six 8oz glasses of fluid a day, that is 1 1/2 Litres each and every day.

That’s a hella lot of fluids! Are you drinking enough?

There is a myth that you should be drinking all that fluid as water but that is not true. Any unsweetened, non-alcoholic drink counts. So tea, milk, diet pops, basically any 0 SP drinks. You can also get some of your fluids from certain foods, like watermelon, celery and the like.

Drink up my friends! πŸ™‚

Fun fact I learned about water, it has been shown to help women regulate body temperature so if you are going through menopause drinking lots of water might help control the hot flashes.

Something else we talked about was the truth of the scale. The scale never lies, it will always tell the truth but it is only the truth in that moment, it is a snapshot. The scale will tell a certain truth, it doesn’t give the big picture of how a person is doing. If you do everything right and you step on the scale and it doesn’t show the result you are expecting think back to the last 24 hours. Did you eat something high in sodium and are retaining water? Is it super humid? Are you taking a new medication? There are a lot of things that could affect your weigh-in so sure, the scale never lies, but maybe in that moment the scale is showing the effects of that salty popcorn you ate the night before. Take that number with a grain of salt…heh, salt, get it? πŸ˜‰

Lastly we talked about treats and tips for dealing with parties. One lady said before she goes to a party she thinks about what she wants to get out of that event, does she want to lose, maintain, or gain. She says she never wants to gain but may be ok with gaining because of what she ate at that party due to circumstances.

The other tip was about keeping treats out of easy reach. One lady has so much trouble not eating allllll the treats allllll the time that she keeps them in a box in her trunk in her underground parking. That way, if she is craving something she can’t just go to the cupboard in her kitchen but would have to go down 3 floors and get them from the car and that extra effort just to get a cookie (or whatever her treats are) is usually all she needs to get her aiming for some fruit. She goes the extra step by giving herself rules about the circumstances in which she is allowed to eat those treats. She must eat them in her apartment, so she can’t just grab something from the trunk when she is about to get in to her car. I figure she must be very good at following her own rules to resist just grabbing one when on the go…but hey, whatever works for her! πŸ™‚

My treat to myself for losing my first ten pounds (technically 11.8lbs, not that I’m counting or anything…) is to buy a new book, Chapters here I come!

An Old Find

31 Aug

I was walking to the store earlier today and passed by this little corner store near my place. They have these shelves set up outside that usually have flowers for sale on them but today there was an odd assortment of items for sale. Almost like a person working there didn’t feel like having a full on garage sale so instead put the items out at work hoping someone would see and want to buy.

There was an old bread box, and when I say old I mean ooooold! Old like it is that avocado green colour that appliances used to be made in back in the day, that was what, the 60s? 70? Somewhere back then.

I don’t know what drew me to the bread box but I opened the door and was looking at it when the guy working at the store popped out to talk to me. I asked how much it was, thinking it would be pricey and would put me off buying it and he said for me he’d charge $8. Before I really thought it through I agreed to the price and boom! Retro bread box is officially mine! Β πŸ™‚

I picked it up on my way back from running my errands, didn’t really feel like carrying it to all the shops and back. I’m pretty sure the guy didn’t believe me when I said I would come back for it, especially based on his facial expression when I walked in to the store with the bread box in my arms ready to pay. πŸ˜›

He pointed out to me that on the back it said “Made in Canada”, something I hadn’t noticed, I don’t know that it really matters where it was made, but upon further thought I don’t know that any other kitchen item I own is made in Canada so that makes this piece even more unique.

2016-08-31 18.27.42

I absolutely love this find! I never used to be in to antique / retro items but over the past couple years I find myself leaning towards that style of furniture more often.

The tricky part is where to put it…I have a super tiny kitchen with almost no counter space so it can’t go there. There are these three built in shelves in my kitchen but the bread box is too big for those. I’m contemplating moving the stuff from the top of my fridge and putting it there, or maybe on the microwave cart…I dunno. I might scrap putting it in the kitchen altogether and instead put it on my dresser and use it to hold something completely not food or kitchen related. I mean, there’s no rule saying I have to use it to hold bread, shrug. Whatever I use it for, I am excited to have it, so happy I decided to walk to do my errands today! πŸ™‚

Clementine by Sarah Jaffe

27 Aug

I am obsessed with this song lately, I listen to it pretty much every day. In fact, I am listening to it riiiiight now! lol πŸ˜›

I know it isn’t a new song or anything but I recently discovered it and thought I would share.

Enjoy! πŸ™‚

Try It Tuesday: Butternut Squash & Quinoa Pilaf

23 Aug

Oh Jamie Oliver, Β how you tempt me!

It seems every time I go grocery shopping and am in the frozen aisle I see a Jamie Oliver product I want to try, dangerous not only to my eating plan but also to my budget lol Lucky for me I seem to spot his items when they are on sale, or maybe they are always on sale…nah, that can’t be it!

Once again I bought the item thinking it was a meal on its own and it turned out it is actually meant to be a side dish. I figured I’d try eating is as such which meant I had to cook an entire meal -the horrors!

Here is what I started with…

Sorry it isn’t in focus, I would have sworn it was when I took the picture and the box is in the recycling now so too late to try again, oops.

Like the box says, this is a butternut squash & quinoa pilaf with mixed rice, pumpkin seeds and cranberries. The box makes a point of saying how it is made with whole grains and contains no preservatives or artificial flavours, so ya know, if that matters to you, there ya go. πŸ˜‰

When frozen it looks like this…

2016-08-17 20.17.42

Pretty decent huh? I chose to microwave it because (1) the box says I can do that and it’ll be fine and (2) my oven was busy cooking other things and coordinating multiple food items in the oven is not a strong skill of mine…something always ends up either burned or not fully cooked, ugh.

So yeah, this sucker got microwaved and turned out great! I paired it with some chicken from M&M Meat Shops and McCain’s Super Fries. Random? Yes. Tasty? Also yes. πŸ™‚

2016-08-17 20.20.15

A portion is 1/3 of the package, or 125 grams. I weighed my portion out then portioned out the remainder of the package so it would be ready for when I wanted the leftovers and there is actually more in the package than three full servings. Not a big deal, just a large spoonful over but if you are really strict about portions you’ll end up having a bit left over. I may have eaten the random spoonful and pretended it didn’t count but ya know, that is me, you do you! If you follow Weight Watchers the Smart Points are 6 per serving.

It isn’t some flavour packed dish, not that I was expecting that, I mean c’mon, it is butternut squash, quinoa and rice…none of those are particularly flavourful items. Having said that, it tasted good. It isn’t covered in some sauce or trying to pretend it is anything other than what it is, which is a nice change for packaged, microwavable food lol. I did put a spoonful of salsa on the left over serving I had the next day at lunch and it took it from good to yum, but you have to keep in mind I love salsa so I’m biased. πŸ˜›

I’d put this on my buy again list, as long as it is on sale! πŸ˜‰

A Lazy Connector

22 Aug

Weight Watchers has an app, as does everything else in the world lol. Part of that app is called Connect and it is sort of like a simplified, members only, Facebook. You make a profile, you post stuff, you like and comment on other people’s posts. I find myself going on there a lot! It is great for motivation, and ideas, and just to see and message people who are going through the same thing as you.

Something I learned from Connect is that I have got to be one of the laziest people following the WW program ever! Not including the people who sign up and don’t actually follow the program of course. πŸ˜›

These people blow my mind with how much daily activity they get. Long walks. Jogs. Training for marathons. Hiking. Swimming. Wall climbing. Gym time. Name it, they do it, and they do it often.

Because WW is partnered with Fitbit a lot of people on the program have a Fitbit, the apps sync with each other so you do the activity and the apps do the math to calculate how many fit points you earn, which is lovely cause I haaaate math lol. But yeah, these people are earning mad high fit points and I’m over here having afternoon naps and cuddle sessions with the cat. *rolls eyes*

I take part in Fitbit challenges but generally don’t push to try to win them, I get about three days in to the challenge and kind of forget about it and inevitably I don’t win. It doesn’t generally bother me because most of the people I engage in Fitbit challenges with are people I don’t see often, basically nobody who I get super competitive with.

That my friends has changed! A friend of mine at work got a Fitbit, the new one that I want sooooo bad lol, and I stupidly invited her to one of the Fitbit challenges. Turns out she is super competitive and is kicking my butt!…and it is driving me nuts! She walks at work more than I do, not too much I can do about that, but do you know what she did on her break? She went up and down 11 flights of stairs! Who does that?? Crazy competitive people, that’s who!

Then she did who knows what in the evening after work but she sure racked up those steps. I held the lead for a very short time and I gotta admit, I thought maaaaaybe I’d keep it since it was getting to be evening but nope, she went and started moving again and squashed me.

So now I really want to win, or at least beat her cause ya know, I may be a tad competitive at times… πŸ˜‰

By 6:30pm I had worked 8 hours, walked for an hour and 15 minutes, done 80 squats, showered, cooked, and eaten. Who am I? What dimension have I walked in to? Normally by 6:30pm I have worked 8 hours, maybe run an errand or two, and would be having a nap with the cat or watching tv.

Insanity. I have obviously reached new levels of insanity.

competitive

It’s Been Forever

19 Aug

It feels like it has been forever since I have sat down to write on this blog, and then I look at the last date I posted something and I realize it has been forever!…well, forever in the world of the internet lol πŸ˜›

Let’s play catch-up shall we?

Weight Watchers News:

I have been slowly, but steadily, losing weight. FYI, when I say slowly I mean slooooooowly. In the world of Weight Watchers, those that lose slowly call themselves turtles and oh man am I a turtle, sometimes I think I am closer to a sloth lol

In an effort to embrace my weight loss journey in all it’s slow glory I made myself a bracelet, to remind me that just because the weight is coming off slowly doesn’t mean it isn’t coming off and I am not alone in this slow journey.

Mr. Pots:

My sweet potato is growing at an incredible pace! If you remember, it started out like this…

2016-07-20 12.29.44

And now looks like this!

2016-08-07 16.50.49

It is actually way bigger than this now, this is the most current pic I can find…I’ll take a new one soon!

I haven’t yet figured out how to tell when it is time to pull the sweet potato out of the dirt but I’m working on it, sorta…A friend who grows pretty much everything says if it is like with normal potatoes I will know to pull the sweet potato up from the dirt once the flowers have bloomed and died. I haven’t seen any flowers yet but I check daily for them.

Food:

I have mastered the art of making epic, healthy, pizza at home. Yummy! I’ll write a separate post detailing what I did, for now just enjoy the picture. πŸ˜›

Hair:

Yeah, so…I did this…

2016-08-08 17.55.10

I wanted a change so I chopped my hair off, yay! I donated the hair to an organization that makes wigs for people with cancer. I figured if I was going to cut it off, it might as well do someone else some good rather than just go in the trash. I did look in to selling it, cause ya know, being poor sucks, but from what I could find only creepy people want to buy hair and I wasn’t comfortable putting my hair in to disturbing situations like that.

Dragon Boat News:

My team, The Twisted Hips, raced in Victoria BC and won Silver in Diamond Division (the divisions at the Victoria Festival are weirdly named, that is the equivalent to B Division). We worked our butts off, had one race where we got cut off by another boat but didn’t let it phase us and had our final race questioned because three boats had a collision, or maybe it was more like two boats collided and one was nicked, not completely sure. Protests were filed. Drama. Drama. Drama. End of the day, we still won silver. πŸ˜€

2016-08-15 16.09.03 HDR

Oh, and while we were roaming the town between races we came across a Subway bike cart thing, they were giving out free Subs and all they asked was for us to tweet a selfie of us with the sub and #sandwishes. Of course we said yes lol Free lunch! πŸ™‚

2016-08-14 10.39.24-1

So yeah, I guess that is enough for now. πŸ™‚ We race this coming Saturday so hopefully I’ll soon be telling you about yet another medal we are adding to our list of accomplishments, cross fingers for us!

Weight Watchers Wednesday: Humidity

27 Jul

I hate humidity. Not just a little, vague hatred. I. Hate. Humidity.

humidity

I didn’t used to hate it, it was just a thing that happened in summer, no biggy right? Well, ha! Turns out humidity can totally mess with a weigh-in, grr!

I actually managed to get to the Wednesday meeting this week, vs the Thursday meeting I’ve been hitting up for the past couple weeks. When I was at home I stepped on my own scale, mostly out of curiosity. I was feeling ok considering I’d been in Harrison most of the weekend racing and eating. I was fully expecting to be up on the scale but not by too much so why not learn the bad news sooner rather than later, right?

So my scale said I’d gone down 1.5lbs, yay! My scale and the WW scale don’t match, mine always shows me about a pound or so lighter than the official scale but I figure that difference is due to (1) it being a different scale and they all seem to be a little off from each other, like clocks and (2) I’m wearing clothes when on the official scale but at home I am usually, hmm, how to put this delicately? In a state of undress. πŸ˜‰ I’ve gotten used to the two scales not matching, I figure as long as they both go up or down by the same amount then it’s all good.

When I had my official weigh-in I was only down 0.8lbs.

What the hell is that??

Not cool WW scale. Not. Cool.

The leader said it was probably due to the humidity. Hence my new hatred for humidity lol

The room the meeting is in is freakishly hot, and humid, as is most of the city (to varying degrees). The only space with no humidity that I have discovered is my apartment and that is because it is still super chilly in here. I live in a basement suite and have no control over the heat, my place is cold year round. In fact it only juuuuust got warm enough in here that I have stopped wearing my flannel pj bottoms and am just wearing a nightshirt…well, also bed socks but that is cause my feet get cold, *pout*.

So yeah, apparently in my apartment, the land that humidity has forgotten, I had lost 1.5lbs. Out there in the real world that translates in to a loss of 0.8lbs.

At the meeting the topic was All Things Summer. Basically, how do you deal with summer, do you love or hate it, find it easier or more challenging to follow the program, stuff like that. I don’t know if I find it easier or harder to follow the program in summer because I started in summer, shrug, guess I’ll find out once it is winter lol

This week was also about being in the moment, really savouring various things that have to do with summer. Some examples were taking a moment to really appreciate and enjoy that piece of summer fruit you are about to bite in to. Or finding time, even if it is only 5 minutes to close your eyes, breathe deep, clear you mind and focus on your breath and body. Apparently it can do wonders…

There wasn’t anything really insightful or amazing said at the meeting, or at least nothing impressive enough that I wrote notes lol There is a recipe in the weekly booklet they hand out that I want to try, a Pasta Salad with Tomato and Basil. The picture looks delish and it seems easy enough. I thought I had all the ingredients for it but alas, I do not, so it’ll have to wait a week before I have everything I need to give it a go. I’ll let you know how it turns out. πŸ™‚

Try It Tuesday: Grow Something!

26 Jul

A couple of months ago I bought a sweet potato and somehow didn’t eat it. Distressing enough. Even more distressing is that when I picked it up it was sprouting things, *shudder* I find the sight of a potato with shoots growing from it highly disturbing. Normally when this happens I throw it out. This time, for reasons I can’t explain, I had an urge to see if I could grow another sweet potato from this one.

After much research, thank goodness for Google!, I learned that step one is to chop the potato and put it in a water bath. Basically you chop off the end, stick toothpicks in the potato, then rest the potato in a glass (I put mine in a small tupperware container) so that the flat part is immersed in water but not touching the bottom of the glass (or in my case, tupperware). You have to change out the water every couple days or so and have the patience of a saint because you are waiting for roots to grow. The roots look like thin, stringy, pale white / almost see through hairs…think something that looks like it belongs to a jellyfish.

While waiting for the roots to grow the shoots kept getting taller and taller, to the point that the tallest one was flopping over so I piled tupperware beside it so it had something to lean on. Along the stalk / stem there were these very tiny little bumps, I have noooooo idea what they are, or if they are good or bad, but I’m leaning toward good because, well, the idea that they are something gross and were living in my kitchen for months is distressing. πŸ˜›

So finally, roots have grown, yay! Back to google I went and I learned that growing this thing in a pot is going to take a bit of effort, sigh. If it was not yet full on summer, when I planted it I’d have to make a little tent over the dirt it was planted in to help the dirt stay warm enough for it. I kid you not! A freakin tent! Lucky for me it is summer, full on summer, lots of heat happening over here, so no tent is needed. I however did have to buy a pot, and dirt, and take care of assembly.

Another way I lucked out is having a friend that grows stuff, lots of stuff, an entire garden worth of plants and veggies and fruit. She basically knows everything there is to know aaaaand has tools!

Mr. Pots and I (that is what I named the sweet potato) went over to her place, along with the dirt and the pot I purchased and she helped a lot!

This is during transport. You can see in the picture on the left the toothpicks that were in Mr. Pots. I put soaking wet paper towel in a small container and rested Mr. Pots on top, I couldn’t travel with the water because it would slosh everywhere so that was my compromise. I added the picture on the right to show how tall the one shoot got. Oh and see that spade at the bottom? That is my one and only garden tool, it still has the tag on it and I still haven’t used it cause my friend had a better one lol

Once at my friends place she pulled out her drill and kindly put four holes in the bottom of the pot for me. See, when growing a sweet potato in a pot you need to water it a lot because they are thirsty little guys but you have to provide an escape for the excess water so you don’t drown the sweet potato. They are a tad finicky. Also, you have to line the pot with a mesh sheet so that when the water drains from the pot the dirt doesn’t go with it. Lisa, my friend, had some of that stuff also, I swear, she has everything!, so she let me have some. We lined the entire pot, I would have only thought to line the bottom but she suggested it go all the way up the sides of the pot so that is what we did. I bow to her knowledge. πŸ™‚

Once the pot was lined I used her massive spade shovel thing to fill most of the pot, then we made a bit of a hole, plopped in Mr. Pots sans toothpicks and wet paper towel, buried him and voila! We planted a sweet potato!

Because I was going to be bringing him home in my suv we gave him some water but not too much, didn’t want to mess up my vehicle. Once I got him home I thoroughly watered him and got him a snazzy spot in the garden. He has to be watered every day but I don’t have to worry about that because my landlords, whose garden Mr. Pots now resides in, have their sprinkler system on a timer so Mr. Pots gets watered every morning around 5:30am. I check on him every couple days, make sure his dirt is wet, and basically leave him to do his thing…not that I know what that is…I did notice some ants crawling on his dirt which worries me, what if the ants hurt him? I don’t like him being outside and exposed to things but he seems to be ok with it because he has noticeably grown since being put out there. I figure he’s highly enjoying photosynthesizing, since while in my place he wasn’t able to do that and we all know that’s what leaves like to do.

2016-07-20 12.29.44

Mr. Bartholomue Pots

He is much taller now, and those short little shoots you can see in the picture have shot up, I’m taking that as a sign he is thriving.

Now I have to figure out how to tell when he is ready to dig up, that is something Google has yet to teach me but I’m sure I’ll find an article somewhere. So far everything I read mostly talks about how to grow sweet potatoes and seems to assume once it is growing I will psychically know how to figure out the rest…silly internet, thinking I know something! lol πŸ˜‰

Weight Watchers Wednesday…Sorta…

20 Jul

I didn’t write last week, not because I stopped doing the whole Weight Watcher thing but because I had my weekly meeting on Thursday and planned to write up my post after the meeting but I was sooooo sick I couldn’t do it. Ugh. It sucked. I couldn’t even look at the written word, let alone type it!

But this week I am doing better! Yay!

However, I am missing my Wednesday meeting again! because of life plans and will be going Thursday. It’s not that I don’t like the Thursday meeting, it is fine, but I hate missing the Wednesday meeting, again, not because of anything specific to do with the meeting just because I like going Wednesdays. In the app I have Wednesdays as my weigh-in day so that is the day my weekly points roll over and is technically the beginning of my new food week and I guess I prefer having my official weigh-in happen on the day it is supposed to happen on. shrug. I know I could switch the weigh-in day on my app to Thursday, since I appear to be hitting up the Thursday meeting quite often but I don’t wanna *foot stomp* so there! πŸ˜‰ lol

Last week we talked about trying something new and our leader gave us the challenge of trying a new food this week. So far, I have epically failed that challenge *rolls eyes*. Once I got my appetite back I was really only wanting to eat bland, simple, foods and I figured following my stomach’s lead over the meeting leader’s lead was the wisest choice.

My weigh-in results from last week had me losing 1.2 pounds, bringing me to a total loss of 6.2 pounds. I can’t wait till my weight loss numbers get bigger and sound more impressive. People keep asking me how much I have lost and when I say 6.2 pounds they look so disappointed, it’s annoying! Then they start wondering, out loud!, why I’m not losing faster, or is the program really worth it, blah blah blah. I always want to respond with a comment along the lines of “get off my freakin back I’m doing the best I can!” but instead I just give a little smile, say something positive about the program, point out I haven’t been going all that long, and walk away sorta wondering if I am sucking at this whole weight loss thing since the whole entire world seems to think I should be losing faster. sigh.

But ya know what? It is healthier to lose the weight no more than 2 pounds per week, and I know from past experience my body does not like to lose weight so any weight loss is a minor victory in my world. I’ve just got to remember that people suck, and often say things they may not realize can have a negative effect on the person they are speaking to.

Ultimately, I decide how I feel about myself and my weight loss journey, and so far, I feel good about the journey. I am re-learning proper food portions, meeting great people, enjoying using the app, and am seeing results. Really, what more could I ask for?

Try It Tuesday: Cat Edition

19 Jul

I figured all these new things I am trying, why shouldn’t the cat get to try something new? Seems only fair to me! πŸ™‚

I found a new treat for cats and figured odds were good the little furball I live with would love it, what with it being tuna an all.

Whenever I open tuna, which is rare because I’m not a huge fan of the stuff, Striker gets his share…and then some! The treat I found is tuna in water. That’s it. Pretty simple huh? Apparently it is even better than the tuna in cans that us silly humans consume because this is flaked tuna in water in a plastic container, so less leaching of who-knows-what from a tin. Also, less sodium etc because nothing is added to this tuna.

It was a dollar and change and also comes in salmon. I played it safe and got tuna since Striker is ridiculously picky about what he will eat.

2016-06-13 18.19.23

Pretty gross looking. I wasn’t sure if I should drain it or not, I opted not to initially and figured if he turned his nose up I’d drain it and see if he liked it better that way. Turns out I didn’t have to drain it, he loved it!

He may have loved the treat but he didn’t much care for being photographed while he ate sooooo after I got that look from him I put the phone down.

2016-06-13 14.11.34

He didn’t eat it all in one go, he prefers eating small amounts so he ate some, walked away, came back later, ate some more, and so on until it was all gone. He really liked the liquid, or at least I am assuming he did since he lapped it up. Over the course of 4 hours or so he ate the entire dish and then meowed at me for more lol

Next time I think I’ll get him the salmon also, see if he likes that one as much. πŸ™‚
